At Shawn's Swim School, swimming is more than a life skill — it builds confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of the water.
Since 1994, we've been proudly teaching the Hoppers Crossing community, helping swimmers of all ages develop strong technique, water safety skills, and self-belief.
Our swim school
We cater for everyone from babies as young as 4 months through to children, adults, and squad swimmers.
All lessons are taught by fully qualified instructors in small class sizes, using a structured 11-level certificate program to ensure consistent progress and feedback.
Our team regularly attends national and international training conferences to stay at the forefront of modern swim teaching methods.
Our programs have been recognised with multiple industry and local government awards, including ASSA National Swim School of the Year 2024.
With flexible payment options and make-up lessons available in selected programs, we make learning to swim simple, supportive, and effective.

- 2003 In September 2003 we were awarded the VAIC Swim School of the Year.
- 2004 We were awarded the Wyndham Small Business of the Year award.
- 2005 One of our babies teachers, Janet McClure, won the Pre-School Aquatics Teacher of the Year award.
- 2024 We were awarded ASSA's National Swim School of the Year!
