Classes continue during school holidays!

Classes run as normal during the school holidays. We will only be closed for the 3 Easter Public Holidays on Good Friday April 18th, Easter Saturday April 19th and Easter Monday April 21st . Apart from those 3 days, lessons will be running as per usual. Please note there is no squad training during the school holidays.

Term 2 prepayment totals

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday lessons (13 lessons)

• 1 child: $338 (13 x $26)
• 2 children: $663 (13 x $51)
• 3 children: $975 (13 x $75)

Friday lessons (12 lessons) (we are closed on Friday 25th April for ANZAC Day)

• 1 child: $312 (12 x $26)
• 2 children: $612 (12 x $51)
• 3 children: $900 (12 x $75)

Monday lessons (11 lessons) (we are closed on Monday 21st April for Easter Monday and 9th June for King's Birthday)

• 1 child: $286 (11 x $26)
• 2 children: $561 (11 x $51)
• 3 children: $825 (11 x $75)

Diving classes

We will be holding diving classes on Wednesday 16th of April between 2pm and 3pm . This is the second Wednesday of the school holidays.

The cost is $15 for the half hour class and must be paid when you book in and cannot be cancelled. No refund will be given for a cancelled class for any reason. To book in please see reception and be quick because spots fill up quickly. These classes are only for students who are having lessons in our big pool (Dolphins or above).

Private lessons

We are offering some 1 on 1 private lessons during the school holidays. These are for any current students at Shawn's Swim School in any level, from pre-schoolers up to squad swimmers. The teacher will work on any skill your child wants to improve on, whether it be a beginner who is having trouble floating or a squad swimmer who wants to improve their butterfly!

These classes will be held on Wednesday 9th of April, between 12 and 3pm . They will be of 30 minutes duration. The cost will be $50, payable upon booking. To book in please see reception. Other days might be offered if these classes fill up quickly.

Save the date: squad workshop on Sunday 18 May

Attention all junior and senior squad members: mark your calendars for May 18th !

Join us for an exclusive racing skills and technical session with Australian coach Jayden Brian. Jayden is head coach of MLC Aquatics, one of Victoria's most successful swimming clubs, and is on the Australian team of coaches. (He also happened to learn how to swim at Shawn's Swim School!)

On Sunday May 18th he will run a staff training session in the morning for our teachers and coaches, then 2 squad sessions:

• Junior Squad: 11:30am to 1pm
• Senior Squad: 1:30pm to 3pm

Jayden will be working on:

• Technical drills
• Racing skills: starts, turns and finishes
• Mini-set: speed focus (both squads)
• Mini-set: kick
• Mini-set: aerobic focus (senior squad only)
• Race practice

Cost per student is $30 and must be pre-paid. You can book at reception, or email us to register your interest at shawn@shawnsswimschool.com.au. Positions are limited to 25 swimmers in each session, so please book in quickly to avoid disappointment.
